My son bought the Fiber Frame upgrade for his HBFP and it comes with no real directions and there is nothing said in the sale add about things that have to be done different. Does this irratate any one else to buy something only to find out you waisted the money? The servos don't mount the same which may not be a big deal but if they only told ya how they are supposed to mount maybe you wouldn't try to modify things and in some cases breaking parts or just ruining them. It appears that the roter shaft is to short, even if things did mount right he wouldn't have full motion of the swash plate. I bought the direct drive tail fin but they didn't tell me that I would need a different tail roter blade because the motor is going to be on the other side and spin the roter the opposite direction, needless to say, the fin is so flimsy it vibrats from the roters wind and is basically a waist.

Yea, it looks like the one. I did see it on your site I believe but didn't check it out till after the fact. I got onto your site just after I got my helli and have been going back to it since. Good site and I have used your advise several time. Keep up the good work. I didn't know you were so close till I watched one of your vids from your helli and noticed the power plant in the distance, I knew then you were down near Bingo.

I hate to send you looking somewhere else, but RC Groups had a Guru Z build thread that branched out into another thread specifically for people having problems with Guru builds. It's considered to be a support thread and one of teh Guru engineers stops in once in a while to add his two yen. One of the reasons I was considering selling my King 2 was to build a Guru Z. Option #2 is to maybe convert the King into a King 2 FP. When you think of what you want in a Guru Z build, a King already has it all. What they should do is come up with a quick and easy way to convert the King to FP to learn on and CP later - without spending the $200+ for a Spektrum radio to do it.

I got it all together and I think it's going to be fine now. Thanks for the advice and the vidieos. It now appears that the shaft is to short to use the metal swash plate on, it hits the locking collar when tilted to the max. Seems to be fine with the stock swash plate. Thanks again.

I had the same swashplate problem on mine, they make a longer shaft for it, I'll look into finding a link, but glad to hear you got it together

I have the the Guru-z fp belt drive kit and Falcon 40 4&1 receiver. I want to put this brushless motor combo (HDX-BL-Combo) along with the Telebee Head Lock Gyro TLB01 v2. I am lost on how all this is wired up together and connected to the 4 & 1. Can anybody post a pic, video, and/or a diagram. Thanks in advanced for any info.

I think you need to buy a new 6ch receiver as I can't imagine how you could connect all that to a 4in1, I could be wrong though
