What size blades can be run on a 450? How does the size/weight affect it?

I believe that the SAFE Max. lsize is 335mm.. I think you can use down to about 315 and be OK.. D.D. got a set of Mav. 315 CF blades from me to run on HIS belt and I think it flys very good with them.. As for weight I really don't know bout that..

My EXI kit came with plastic 325s and I have a spare set of wood 325s. However, my original Belt CP (of which I'm still using the motor/batter/esc) had wood 315s. Would I gain anything by going down to 315s or up to 335s?

I love those blades, still look and fly like new. Plus they are good looking blades. I like the fact that they are carbons, but they are still mostly white, for good visability.

If it were me I would go with 335mm.. You won't "notice" anything but stabillity would be the thing..

the difference would be so minimal you're not likely to notice the difference in blade size, BUT when it comes to quality blades and cheap no-name blades the difference is night and day. I personally prefer the Align 325mm Woddies for 450's (Unless you can do 3D) but the Align woodies are cheap $, strong, very light and track great. I have some Carbon Fiber ones I used for a while but I didn't like the added weight so I switched back to the Align Woodies. Get much better performance.

WOW that is cheap :bigthumb: Now I am using these blades. They are great for their price! Much stiffer and stronger than stock blades. And you can get 6 pairs of them for 19.56$ with shipping. I also liked these blades But I didn't like these blades. They are fragile and not stiff
