does any one have any idea how i can remove an old bent rotor clamp without hacking the thing of and possibly causeing more damage?

u mean u have a bent feathering shaft and the blade grips are bent to the side?

yeah i should have made that clearer i have bent the feathering shaft buut cant seem to get the blade clamps off :(

first u got to take the main blades off then u need a 5.5 mm socket i thinks its 5.5 but not sure but any way u need two sockets so u can hold one side while loosening the other nut and slowly take one blade grip off so u don't lose the thrust bearing and spaces and other stuff... and remember the way things go on so you don't put n e thing on backwards pretty much just make sure u put every thing back on the same and also before u take the nuts off on each blade grip Nuzzcase has a good point that u should take a menal note on how much thread is sticking throught the nuts on each side so u don't over tighen and keep them even

lol actully if its bent pretty bad u might not need to hold the other nut while unscrewing the other side
