| Hi, I was wondering if the Honeybee FP can be converted to a CP setup.
I even have another 6ch radio of walkera which has both CCPM and non CCPM settings.
Is it Possible to convert my FP to have a CP head.

| Yes, it is possible, but not worth it. You can install honey bee cp 2 head, add one servo and you will have cp. But it is almost impossible to find cp2 head. And it won't be a good cp heli. So why have a bad cp heli, when you can have great fp heli | |

shame on you for even suggesting it!!! The only reason i asked this question is have the following 1. Higher head speed 2. More response in the air 3. Budget constraints 4. Experimentation So explain me your reason for calling this "a shame"

| It was more of a joke but in reality converting the HBFP to a HBCP is a really really bad idea. The first reason being the HBCP 2 was discontinued and ESky isn't sure if they will release the HBCP 3 so that means you will have a hard time finding parts for it. Then theres the head assembly for the HBCP 2, one word "Crap", tons of slop which means the heli will drift all over the place making it less stable then the HBFP. Also CP helis were not meant to use tail motors. They work fine on FP's but its just a bad idea on a CP, the motor cannot respond quick enough to higher head speeds and that means you get a twitchy tail. You should be looking into converting your HBFP into a Guru FP, its a HBFP on a whole different level, check here for all the info you could ever want about modding your HBFP http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=826446&page=185#post12884745Check this guys HBFP, or what used to be a HBFP And his doesn't even have the belt drive tail option on it! http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=12627141&postcount=17706So the Joke was, its a shame to take a HBFP, which can be turned into something really nice, and turn it into a really unstable micro cp. | |

| Subject: HBK2 stock motor used on Falcon 40 Mon Aug 17, 2009 3:57 pm | |
| Hey guys, The original motor on my Falcon 40 died out so I replaced it with the stock motor off of my HBK2. I hooked it up directly to the receiver and ran it for a total of about 5 minutes. Well, it smoked the receiver. Now the receiver sends a 100% power signal to the main motor from the motor channel (i.e., run fast regardless of the throttle control position). Fortunately the other three channels function normally. So what are my options for getting my Falcon 40 back in the air? | |

| Buy new 4in1 or replace burned FETS inside 4in1 if you got soldering skills | |

P3tras, Were you answering my question regarding the burnt Falcon 40 receiver? If so, what is the "FETS?" Could I use receiver/motor off of a HBFP as substitutes?

| FETS are little things that gives power to the motor. But using king 2 motor you overloaded them and they burned out (probably) Just open your 4in1 and look for something burned out. If you can find anything then desolder it and brink to the radioshack store for the similar or same part. Then solder the new part and it should work And yes you can use honey bee fp 4in1 (receiver) and motor on falcon 40. And never use king 2 motor on fp heli because same thing will happen again | |
