Subject: Tail control rod on 450 Thu Sep 17, 2009 9:28 pm
I have to keep checking on the alignment of my tail control rod as my control rod guides don't stay in place on the boom very well. I have been thinking of trying the tail control rod for a Beam E4. They run that control rod without any guides. It's a carbon rod with metal fittings bonded on the end to accept the rodends. The overall length of the setup looks to be a little shorter than the control rod on either of my 450s. I don't think that would be a real issue as you should be able to just move the tail servo back on the boom slightly to compensate.
Any Opinions?

My opinion......Do IT!
If not I use a tiny drip of superglue on the guides, that might help.
