| You are right there is strength in number,s, but than again if you bought one you could fly longer than you work on it, that might be fun too, just my point of view! Pat | |

| I don,t have that heli yet, but what I do have is walkera lama 2 coax for in the house, the transmitter is on par with the expensive transmitter, it,s 4 channel very agil, very presice, and I fly it out side in the wind mybe 3 to 7 mph and it,s a blast, Ive crash it so hard I broke the power in wire right off the circut board, had it up about 50 feet or so the other night the wind caught it,I dropped power and it crashed 3 houses away, damn thing I had to staighten out the wire landing gear, put in a new bat and we were off again, so wa da ya think!!! | Don,t let the secret out that you can fly without having the reaction time of a puma, if the blades work good just imagine what the heli does, i don,t know how or when they got the bad rep but just look at the equipment almost the same money for all metal heads, swash plate, just look at the size of the fly bar links on the 4 or the swash links or the bat holder it is actually in the right place to start with the difference is right there, look at the top end 6 channel, you can get one just like it for about 600.00 bucks from someone else it,s just a opinion!!!!! | |

| I don,t know I started with the hbfp, I realize it,s inexpensive to start with and parts are inexpensive but mine was shipped to me in lipo version with nicad setup, I asked what was wrong and the sight I got it from treated me badly, so here goes Iam ex airforce hydraulic specialist on the c5a, c141, t38, f4 phantom, dealing with flight controls, variable feel unit set up, thats the thing that uses airspeed, density and altitude to adjust the input the pilot puts in so he doesn,t over control the aircraft, own my own hydraulic repair bis since 2000, sorry but what could I possibly have to offer in the way of insight on flying anything, just had to say it. But with that aside they have a uperend heli with the bellhillar set up, probably would be a very precise flyer , but again it,s just my opinion! Pat

| I think it,s called the Creata 400, it has the servo on the bottom to control pitch, I think it would be considered bellhiller, could be wrong, would only be the 5th or 6th time today! | |

| Are these Walkera 4# blades plastic? How well do they track?
I am having lots of problems with tracking using original HBfp blades.
Now that I have installed Super skids I really need it to be balanced and tracking perfectly to get it to fly decent and gain some altitude.
Looking for best blades replacement.
P.S. Walkera 4# does look really good with all of aluminum parts. Even the links look heavy duty.

| THE BLADES FROM THEWALKERS ARE PLASTIC, THEY ARE PATTEREND DIFFERENT MORE AREA NEAR BLADE GRIPPS, BLADE BALANCE SO FAR HAS BEEN RIGHT ON,, TRACKING WAS PERFECT OUT OF THE PACK, SEEMS TO HAVE MORE LIFT, IN FACT A COULD NOT TRIMM OR FLY MINE UNTIL I PUT THESE BLADES ON TO SUIT ME BUT IAM NOT THE BEST FLYER AROUND, IF YOU GO TO HELIPAL I THINK YOU CAN SCOLL DOWN AND WATCH IT FLY IF NOT GO TO BANNAHOBBY AND WATCH THEIR PRO pETE FLY ONE, HE DOES 3D LIKE WE PUT ON OUR SHOES, GOOD WAY TO CUT THOUGH THE BULL, ALSO IF YOU HAVE A LIPO BATTERY ITS ALMOST INPOSSIABLE TO BALANCE THE HELI WITH OUT IY BEING OUT FRONT UNDER THE RECIRVER, EXTREME MAKE A MOUNT THAT WILL PUT YOU RIGHT ON, ONR MORE THING IF YOU GET IT FLYING A LITTLE AND KINDA TRIMMED, CK BALANCE THEN ADJUST THE SWASH PLATE UNTIL IT STARTS TO HOVER PRETTY GOOD THEN MAKE THE FINAL SMALL AJUSTMRNT WITH TRIMM BUTTONS ON YOUR TRANSMITTER, THE BLADES FINAL ALOWWED ME TO DO THIS AND YOU DON,T HAVE TO BEND THE BLADES THEN LATER BEND THEM AGAIN JUST TO GET BACK WHERE OU WERE BE FORE THEN YOU CAN INJOY! jUST MY OPINION pat | |

| I really don,t know, just my experience with the micro lama 2, can,t seem hurt it much, when I get ahead a little I do want to try one of the bigger one,s maybe that big coastguard scaled one, it looks nice enough and it sounds neat, it just seems they are trying much harder to deliver good quality stuff up front the rest I guess ill find out later. | I bought the oem blades under the parts section on helipal, I saw that same blade fly on a walkers 41b which is basicly the same heli, the set I got was balanced and tracked right on from the pack, I could get standard hbfp blades to work pretty good, but these walkera blades fit tight on the blade grips and suddenly the bee was flying great, thats the only thing I changed, I set my trimms to center adjusted the servo links till it would almost hover by its self, then did the final small ajustments on the trimms, all I know is it has to be the blades, didn,t compare them to the hbfp cause I don,t have any left, also had the extreme blade which work good but alittle twitchy, don,t know if the bulk blades are the same, Id bet they are Helipal will give you a straight answer if you ask, go under banna hobby and watch Pete fly the walkera #4 just open the link for that heli and scroll down and you will see it and a arrow to click on and watch it fly, let me know what you think, just trying to help nad its just my opinion. !! Thats a small battery! CNC head and carbon fibre looks nice but bit pricey. | |

| Yes that the one, I think the lastest version on Helipal is the same heli but 7.4 and different color on blades but the parts break down looks alike its 119.00 on helipal and the shipping so far from them is faster than west coast I think if you up grade the honey to the battery mount, the cnc main shaft and the extreme blade grip you surepass the walkera, then there is still the question the blades, heavier fly bar links and the swash links and a transmitter like my lama 2 that is smooth as silk and walkera,s method of binding trans to heli, on my lama 2 when you bind it the servos move up and down a little then go to nuteral I know that realy doesn,t mean that much but I think it,s pretty cool, once again its just my opinion! - Anyone have any experience with even cheaper Walkeraat 4# blades on helipal for $5.90? http://www.helipal.com/ek1-0202-main-blades-for-honey-bee.html They are plastic too.
How about these http://www.heli-world.com/detail.aspx?ID=3685 ? Carbon fiber for $20.
I have all stock Honey bee FP. Want blades with max lift and good tracking. From what I read, plastic will always bend with heat so is carbon fiber is the answer? Flagmax, I had a lot of trouble with my O.E. blades so I got the carbon fiber blades. They really track perfect and are balanced great. But I see they are sold out again Will buy another set when back in stock I hope
