2 cell vs. 3 cell battery

I'm currently using a 1250 mAh 3 cell lipo for my HB King.
I came upon a 1550 mAh 2 cell lipo, can I use this on my HB King?
When looking for a battery, Is mAh more important than # of cells?

Number of cells. That is what determines the voltage. A 1s, or single cell batt is 3.7v. A 2S or 2 cell is 7.4v, a 3S or 3 cell is 11.1v and so on. The mAh rating mean milliamp hour rating, and is the amount of current the battery can supply for how long. A 2S, 7.4v 900mAh batt will give a bit longer flight time than a 2S, 7,4v 800 mAh batt, but the power will be the same.
